| You can easily visit St Lucia as a day trip from Sodwana Bay but should you decide to go for a longer stay, then we recommend Amazulu Lodge.
Amazulu Lodge is a recently built top accommodation located in the village of St Lucia, one of the gateways to the iSimangaliso Wetland Park (previously known as the Greater St Lucia Wetland Park).
Designed and built with a passion to create a lasting memory for our guests, Amazulu Lodge has a warm African ambiance without sparing luxury. The whole complex is entirely under thatched roofs, and even the specific fragrance of grass reminds you that you are in Africa.
Amazulu Lodge is offering 18 ensuite rooms (two of which are family rooms), with all facilities and ammenities, a stylish reception, 5 star swimming pool, lapa/breakfast area, boma (firepit) and spacious lounge deck overlooking the town and our tropical, lush inner garden.
The lodge is well situated at the end of main street (Mc Kenziestreet) with all activities, shops and restaurants at walking distance. Whale watching, turtle tours, boat cruise on the lake, birding, big 5 game drives and your table for a romantic dinner can all be arranged for you by our helpful and friendly staff.
In the morning you can expect a breakfast to write home about and after a busy day, crisp linen and fluffy towels are awaiting you.
About St Lucia
At Lucia village is situated at the tip of the long stretched peninsula between the St Lucia Lake estuary and the Indian Ocean and is one of the main attraction poles of the iSimangaliso Wetland Park. St Lucia is quite a little town and it is safe to walk around, even at night. Just watch out for the hippo's wandering around, but Ingrid your host will gladly tell you everything about that!

We look forward to welcoming you!
